Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I haven't waked the Camino Frances, so I can't really say how they compare from direct experience. However, Irun is futher North than SJPP and more in the 'foothills' of the Pyrennes, so I imagine the initial incline is perhaps longer and steeper coming out of SJPP...
