In the Tourism Office of Burgos, you will find some help in english. Perhaps also in the municipal next to the cathedral.

    EU Ruling On Bookings.Com

IMHO, all the intermediate (between pilgrims and hospitaleros) on the Camino should be avoided when possible, because they do business with the Camino.

    Few questions - advice

A knife can be useful (for chorizo, fruits, ham…). A spork if you intend to buy prepared salads. Plate is useless. Yes. No. Prefer cash. However, you will find ATM in the main towns (not so much on Primitivo…).

Do I need separate pilgrim passports for my Caminos?

Who can know something you don’t ? It seems impossible. Namely, your own definition of the word « advice » remains mysterious for me…

Do I need separate pilgrim passports for my Caminos?

I advice you to take a specific credencial (« Salvadorana ») in León. Then in Oviedo another one for Primitivo. Then in Santiago the last one (specific) for Muxia-Fisterra.

    Definition of a Pilgrim 🤣

It is not only a matter of hardware weight. The pilgrim who told me that was a young Swiss pilgrim without so much money: he was camping under its tent, which involves an heavy backpack, especially because he was obliged to carry food too. At the opposite, I was flying from albergue to albergue...

You can improve this method by sleeping under a tent the 12 first days of each month, booking only from the 13th.

    Confused over date format

There are 2 convenient ways to express a date: - DD-MM-YYYY, mainly used for human beings. - YYYY-MM-DD, more oriented to business processing. If you find somebody, in Europe, who expresses a date according to MM-DD-YYYY, it should be an american guy !

Finishing my Camino and feeling incomplete.

This picture is a detail of the south entrance of Santiago cathedral. Look at the Omega and the Alpha: they are in reverse order (omega first): that means that Santiago is not the end, but a new start in your life...

Finishing my Camino and feeling incomplete.

What you are feeling is well-known. It is named "Camino Blues". While walking on the Camino, our life is changing dramatically. We talk to people we would never had talked otherwise, and our needs become very simple: where to sleep ? what to eat ? where is the Camino ? Returning back to real...

How to get QR Code onto Wikiloc App

I do not understand what you intend to do ? If you want maps of routes in an app, you can use mapy.cz, selecting "outdoor" map: all the caminos are shown.

    Walking with headphones?

Because Camino is a pilgrimage, all the ways converge toward Santiago : you should expect to meet other people. When I want to be alone, I walk in the Gobi desert.
  18. Pafayac

    Walking with headphones?

Walking with headphones mean for me that you cannot be free from them, and that you do not want to talk with others: why walking the Camino ?
