Greatly appreciate the update and sharing your thoughts and feelings. Oftentimes I wonder how the pilgrim fared in the end when posts are about illness, injury or challenges faced along the way. Thank you. 😊
I walked it April 24th 2023 and stayed at Albergue Suseia. 8 people that day were taken to hospital due to injuries. Lots of mud. I had a slip and fall but fortunate not to incur an injury.
You are a very kind to give us this detailed 😉☺️ update. Like you, I often wonder how those who post injury or illness fare. Appreciate your post and your humour despite this serious setback. Big 👍to you fellow pilgrim.
Your posts also tell a story of a loving father being supportive and empathetic to his daughter’s current needs. Hope she feels better soon. Wishing you and your daughter sunny days for the rest of your time in Spain.
We share a love of music from our more youthful days. Great job and thank you for sharing your journey with us here. Grateful and thankful 🙏❤️ safe journey home.
Wow. How kind and lovely of you to share your joy with us. You are one lucky grandfather as I am sure your granddaughter is in sharing this memorable experience with you. Thank you so much 😊💕 PS the pictures say it all 🙏
I have read on other threads that the local firehall has most often taken care of the overflow by letting pilgrims sleep on the floor on gym mats. Let the pilgrim office know you have been unsuccessful in booking your stay in SJPP when you register.
I meant pilgrims in this forum. Did not mean to be dismissive or uncaring to her current situation in Kyiv. I will try to correct my post. I would not assume there are pilgrims walking in Ukraine. That would be quite clueless to think that under the present conditions there.
If you want to plan as little as possible listen to your gut and heart. Pilgrims on this forum will help if you are open to suggestions. Buen camino ☺️
From my own life's experiences, who you are as a person at home is usually who you are on the camino, or anywhere else your travels take you. I’ve been on this forum a relatively short time compared to others, and people here are caring, thoughtful and kind, no matter if their experience or...
The weather this spring on the Camino, from the many posts, has been cold and wet. Loneliness is a tough one. Although I am not there with you walking, I hope this forum can give you some comfort. Your friend Teresa is beside you in spirit as am I. Sending a BIG 🤗.
Oh Chrissy. So enjoying your post, pictures and the song. ❤️ perfect for your day. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your experience with us. Makes those of us longing to be on a camino feel connected to yours. 🙏
My Camino experience was steeped in gratitude despite the really hard days, physically, mentally and spiritually. I am a vegetarian, a choice I made for my health. I cannot change things that are out of my control such as animal agriculture. As for people, tolerance and acceptance work much...
How about trying the Invierno. Would add a couple of days approx. I’ve been following some threads on the forum of pilgrims walking now. Wise Pilgrim has an app for this camino. I’m sure other members here will add to this suggestion. You start the Invierno in Ponderrada. Buen camino. Hope the...
Your pictures are stunning. 💖 You have a natural talent there. Thanks for sharing your daily experiences here with us. Burn Camino Chrissy.
PS now I want to do the Sanabres as well. Camino list is getting long 😆
