Hi Elaine ended up getting a taxi to la robla it's a tough day 2 good climbs but well worth it bring plenty snacks as no stops as usual, stayed pension mundo bar in la robla near the train station 20 euro lots of pilgrims on the san Salvador so might be worth booking.

Hi I am booked to fly to Bilbao and hope to walk on the Norte as far as San Vicente de Barquera and then the Lebaniego/Vadiniese as far as Cisterna then the Olvidado to Ponferrada and the Invierno to Santiago. Any tips on on Alberques or Hotels or recommended places to stay would be appreciated...
Not the first and hopefully wont be the last this will be year 12 walking various routes missed last year off course so really looking forward to this one.
I have just booked my flight to Bilbao and will be starting the Camino Olvidado on May 14th any info on accommodation would be a great help also I will be walking the Camino de Invierno from Ponferrada to Santiago so any accommodation info for this would be appreciated as well.
Flight booked I will be starting from madrid 30 june so it will be Camino de madrid Camino del Salvador then the Norte from Oviedo hoping to arrive in Santiago for July 25 for the celebrations. Any tips appreciated.

Finished the Vad yesterday and it was everything I had hoped for scenery epic 1st day to la Fuente along the river nansa was a bit long but worth it. There are no shops bars or restaurants la Fuente but the hospitalero cooks a good meal for a few euro. He also stocks a few beers for 1euro and...
