If you can't get a place at either Borda or Orisson you can book two nights in SJPdP and use Express Bourricot's Mountain Shuttle, which must be booked in advance.

Definitely not too early for either. You should also look at Auberge Borda instead of Orisson. I haven't had a chance to stay there, but it looks nicer than Orisson.

In Rabanal the public so albergue is closed, Refugio Gaucelmo has 36 beds and does not accept reservations.

That's true of most public and parochial albergues, but most private albergues can be reserved.
Also booking.com does not have access to all beds or rooms. The properties only release part of their inventory to the booking sites.
