Hmm. I received a message from one of the companies not to leave my bags here. Unsure about the potential issue, but wanted to post the advisory. I am sure it is fine as a left luggage place. Camino Facil also offered the option to meet their driver (around 8:30-9 am).
Yes, just heard from Tui Trans 😀 They can pick up from there. They are also on the Camino Facil list.

Thank you! I think I can change some lodging further down the line, but believe most of the others will likely be in their list (this place is a bit of an anomaly, sort of apartment style). I thought of the left luggage option, as there's a place on Camino Facil's list that sounded like it might...
My husband and I are starting the Portuguese Central route from Oporto on Sunday (walking to Gião, where we have a reservation). Due to the heat, we are thinking of using a luggage transfer service. However, the place I'm staying says they don't work with the pack transfer services.

Hi!
Rome2Rio shows 3 daily Alsa buses from Santiago to Porto. When I search the Alsa web site and the Alsa app, I get the message "no available routes for the trip you have entered." I tried different dates (my preferred departure date is Monday 23 October). I tried Santiago de Compestela...
I am on the Frances right now, and using Camino Facil. Their web site/online booking ended October 27, but I have been emailing reservations each day (contacto@caminofacil.net). They need the origin and destino albergue (with address and phone number). I ask them to email me back a confirmation...
Thank you, all! We picked up the credentials at Carbajalas pilgrim albergue this morning. : )
The trip came together a bit quickly, and I ran out of time to request one at home...
Yes, on @Kanga's post! Most female backpackers carry a "pee rag" while backpacking i.e., just a bandanna tied to the outside of the backpack, which gets un-yucky in the sunshine (I still rinse it at night). This saves carry out, plastic bags, disposal, etc. If you are walking in wilderness...
Many thanks!! Yes, I agree on more time/less stress (as soon as I wrote this, I think I knew the answer!)
The train actually leaves from Chamatrin, not Atocha (latter is near Estacion Sur). Chamatrin is for the northern trains and on the northern side of Madrid.
Good point on arrival time...
Hi all!
Thank you so much for all your wonderful information! We are almost on the way for our two week Camino from Leon to Santiago. Just one last question! : )
Our flight arrives 06:20 at MAD/Barajas on Friday October 14th (direct flight from US). We are checking our backpacks. The Alsa bus...
Many thanks for the search tip!! I *knew* there were weather related discussions, but could not find anything with "weather." Thanks for the tip on putting the month name in the search titles only, much appreciated!!
