I was having coffee in Ages and found the man who lost his poles. He described them before seeing them and was so happy to get them back. I was happy to pass on a favour that I have been on the receiving end of more than once on the camino.
Stayed last night at Casa Susi in Trabadelo. Sooo lovely. If you enjoy single beds, home cooking and a warm friendly atmosphere, plan a stay here. English speaking hosts

Did you leave your poles at the "oasis" stop in the oak forest on your way to San Juan de Ortega today? 25th June 2017. Let me know I have them. Michelle
Hi Maggie, Not sure if a previous post has suggested this because i haven't read them all but treating the clothes/sleeping bag etc..and putting them in a huge garbage bag and leaving them in the sun is just as effective as putting them in a dryer and quite a bit easier if the weather is good.
Thanks Stephen, I had a look. Great photos! I think because it will be my friends first time I might take them on Camino Frances...so they get to experience meeting many other pilgrims.
I alway carry my own pack because I love the freedom. I stick as close to 10% of my body weight as possible. It definitely has it benefits on some days. On my last Camino my fellow pilgrims who didn't carry their own pack arrived at O'Cerberio much earlier than me but were a little dismayed...
That's what im a bit worried about because im introducing some friends to the Camino and a large part of the joy for me is meeting all the other pilgrims.
Thanks Alan, i read some of your older posts. Was it you who only saw a few other people? Im going to be introducing some friends to the Camino and i cant decide between the very busy Logrono to Burgos or Zaragoza to Logrono. They only have about 10 days.
Hi, I'm planning to walk from Zaragoza to Longrono June 2017. I'm wondering in anyone has walked that section recently and have any thoughts, comments tips, about accommodation and the path in general. Many thanks.
Laurie! Thank you so much for your post. I felt very encouraged and inspired by it. I loved Camino Frances in the spring and was thinking that maybe Via de la Plata would be dull in comparison. Nice to know there will be a few other pilgrims too! I really enjoyed meeting people from all over...
Thanks Houlet! I'll be at Triana too for my first two nights and then free form from there too. Let me know if you wish to meet up at Triana. Looks like there may be a few of us planning to start on the 30th!
Hi!
Just wondering if anyone else is planning to start VDLP around the same time? I'll be arriving in Seville on 28th, and staying at Hostel Triana for two nights and heading off on 30th of April.
Cheers
Michelle
