    A walk at the Iona Natural Area to see the newly arrived and nesting Purple Martin swallows. Scotch Broom and Sea Peas are blooming!

    Yesterday morning, a lovely circle walk around Deas Island. Looking for the Wilson's Warbler I was hearing, my binoculars landed on the direct gaze of a Great Horned owlet. I was startled and thrilled!! Two sibblings and the parents nearby.
