Many places will take a credit card now in Spain so it may be less critical to have cash when you land. Now, I just bring euros from my previous trips with me, but in the past I just went to an ATM when I landed.
The Schwab card mentioned is a good deal, but you need to think ahead and do that...
This makes sense to me. The heiress to the Gortex empire is a very conservative congresswoman from our state of Wyoming where it is high elevation and the climate is very dry...
Honestly though, we had gortex overcoats in the military in the early 2000's and they worked great for cold and snow.

Can you rest a day? Get some new poles? The descent from Alto del Perdon is also sometimes treacherous tomorrow. Can you consider busing ahead to Puenta la Reina to avoid this? I'd hate to see you take another tumble. Stay safe. The Spanish people we have met around the Camino always seem to...
I liked Finesterre for one day. Yes, hiking out to the lighthouse and back is probably nice for one day or if the weather is good and you like the beach it might be fine for a couple of days. The nicer beaches are not really in town though. I found the food more expensive there than Muxia and it...
