Hello... are they still doing the free lunch for the first 10 pilgrims arriving at the Pilgrim Office? The quiet of February might be my only chance to be in the top 10. I'm on the CP. It looks like the Pilgrim Office only island at 10am in winter
Hello... Great timing... There will be a presentation about the Inglés at the Long Branch Legion on March 4! Also s Camino info meeting on March 2 at Beach United Church. On Facebook look for the Canadian Company of Pilgrims and the Toronto Camino Community for details!
There's also the P'tit Train du Nord path in the Laurentians. I haven't walked or biked it but it looks nice.
update, I did half of the Chemin des Sanctuaires in June. I practice French in the weeks before and did ok, and found that a lot of people actually wanted to practice their English with...
A lot of people in Portugal speak English, they learn it in school. I was totally surprised by that, and relieved!
Good to know a few Portuguese words and phrases though. If you know some Spanish, you will be able to read a lot of Portugese, but the pronunciation is so different!
Yes it looks pretty flat until Ste Anne. I have been down that way many times, my Dad is from an anglophone area of Gaspé. But we would drive on the bigger highway. Autoroute Guy Lafleur I guess!

Hola! Is this book for sale anywhere in Santiago? It doesn't seem to be available in Canada. I've only seen it on the CSJ website
Edit: would rather not buy from Amazon. Thanks!
Awesome, thanks Sanantha! That's what I'll do. That looked like a good distance but I'm happy to hear from someone who walked it!
Sadly the Camino Ninja app isn't available anymore because the developer passed away. I've been using the Buen Camino app and it's great too
Hi! I'm short on time. Wondering if it seems reasonable to take a bus to Negreira and walk to Muxia in 3 days from there? I've already walked Santiago to Negreira when I went to Finesterre. I'd like to stop in Dumbria the second night. Where would be a good place to stsy tge first night? Is the...
