We are looking to go 26 August onwards, possibly flying in to Bilboa but this may change. We are coming from UK. Originally we were going to do a week but think we will add a few more days on. Sorry to be vague, only just decided we want to go!
We would like to do part of the CDN and have two weeks. Which would be the best part to do with accommodation choices (we prefer own room). Would like best scenery. How does this route compare to the Frances, which we have done in the past.
well last night in our own bed. Travel to Stansted tomorrow and fly to Oviedo Tuesday morning. Then walking to Escamplero for first night. Nervous but excited.
Have booked most of accommodation after first couple of nights. Bit worried about the weather though!
Anyone there now or just returned?
I just wondered if there was anyone on the Primitivo at the moment and if so, do they have time to provide an update.

We too start our walk in June. We arrive in Oviedo from UK on 6 June and will walk to Escamplero that day. Cannot wait. Just hope weather is good. We will be taking our ponchos and fleece, so hope to be warm enough.
Our paths may cross - when do you start?
We arrive on 6 June and will walk to Escamplero for the first day. Cannot wait to get started although not as fit as I would like to be, but will just take it steady. BUen camino

Loving reading your posts. Just noticed you are doing Everest in October. That is on my list, we did Annapurna trek a couple of years ago and it was fab.
Buen camino!
Thank you. I though that I had read somewhere it was not open but wondered if that was just temporary. Is there any other private accommodation there do you know?
