Are passport copies accepted at albergues?

I thought of doing the same, then I thought that it would be more trouble than it's worth if even half of the places accept it.

    Committing... and transport query?

This is the reason you can't book the train right now. I would start checking every week though, because there doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule as to how much in advance they are released.

Are passport copies accepted at albergues?

As far as I know, US passport cards are not accepted for this purpose.

Molinaseca to O Cebreiro stage mess up?

I've walked from Villafranca del Bierzo to O Cebreiro twice. Once on the official Camino, and once on the higher route. It's definitely doable and I didn't find it horrendous. If you are concerned you can try to get s reservation in one of the towns before the climb to O Cebreiro...

    Albergue Etiquette

And no audible alarms! I was planning to wake up by 6:30 this morning and have an alarm app which only plays through my earbuds that I wear at night. But the guy in the bed next to mine had an alarm that went off at 5:15, followed by extensive bag rustling because many of his things were...

A call for regulation or permit on the Francés

I completely agree. While I'm on the Camino people from other countries often ask me "why the Camino? Aren't there lots of long distance trails in the US?". I always tell them yes, but not with albergues every 20 km or so. The only thing that long distance trails in the US have in common with...

Walking from Santander to Gijon commencing 18 June but worried about accommodation...

It is. I walked that way last year, staying overnight in Liencres.

Where to purchase trail runners in Oviedo?

With blisters you should also look at hiking sandals. I wesr them on every Camino, including the Norte and Primitivo last year.

Frio Xlarge bag for insulin pens

Blisters are definitely not inevitable. I've had two small ones in the last 7 Caminos.

A call for regulation or permit on the Francés

Yes, it is referring to A Coruña. My mother was on a cruise that stopped in A Coruña years ago, and told me that it was a city worth spending time in. So I did exactly that in 2017 and loved it.

    Marching in March

As you probably know, the Napoleon route is closed until the first of April, so if you start from SJPdP it will be on the Valcarlos route. As far as weather goes, this site is helpful: https://caminoweather.com/

A call for regulation or permit on the Francés

Many of those in the rolling luggage group are Spaniards enjoying their own culture in their own country.

    The Pilgrim’s Guide to Etiquette

I'd like to introduce a pilgrim etiquette rule: Don't judge or disparage the intentions of other pilgrims based on the distance they walk, their attire, or where they sleep.

Tracking apps/findpenguins/Relive/ or just simple iphone/google maps

A friend of mine is an activities director at a senior assisted living place, and while she was on the Camino another staff member would show her daily Find Penguins blog to the residents on the big screen TV in their common room.

How to stay “logged in” on the forums

That's how I do it too.

    The Pilgrim’s Guide to Etiquette

A few years ago there was a touring display of Playmobil Camino characters. https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/playmobil-camino-display-in-area-central-mall.71805/

Lost & Found Lost Credential at Iglesia de San Andrés de Cedeira, 20-30 minutes outside Redondela

There's a chance that you would be able to plead your case by showing photos that you have taken on your phone for the stages before you lost your credential. I would definitely try to get a new one and get as many stamps as you can. I would try the municipal albergue to see if they have them.

I've yet to meet a plastic pilgrim. Do they look anything like this?

    Hikers / Lamb Wool

When are you leaving? I buy wool on Amazon. I find the kind that's no marketed to hiker's to be less expensive. Look for "lamb's wool for feet." You could also ask a podiatrist. My mother's podiatrist gave her some to deal with hammer toes.
