I just wanna tell you all that this years Camino was the best. We started 14 of march in Alicante and walked the Sureste to Avila. From there we took Ruta Teresiana to Alba de Tormes and then a short one called something like Ruta de la Plata ? to Salamanca. From Salamanca we went on Camino...
Now I have downloaded the GPS tracks, printed hundreds of papers, which I can read up to departure, bring on the Camino and throw paper for paper. Have no idea if I will get the GPS files to work when we get there. I have concluded that it most likely (everything can change) :-) will be Camino...
Yes peregrina thats a really interesting question. My feet HATE asphalt and when my feet are unhappy, so am I.
So if anyone know about the aphaltquestion, please let me know.

We plan to go the Camino Sureste starting in Alicante early March next year. But instead of walking the end at VdLP, as we have already walked in, we are thinking about taking the Camino Torres from Zalamanca and then via Portugal to Santiago. Variety is the spice of life :-) Is there anyone...
I do speak some Spanish an I understund and read better than I speak. So mayby a good Spanish guidbook would be better than nothing.
And thank you all for the help. Your great ;)

Thanks for your answer :-) How will we know if we walk on the Sureste or Levante ? Does the signs tell us ? My feet really hates asphalt so if its possible to not walk on that, I will prefer that. We have no problem walking long stages and we also use to sleep where we like it most. It can be...
I dont really care if we walk the Levante or the Sureste. The less asphalt the better. It seems strange that Peregrinos back in the old days should have made two caminos so near to each other. After they joined the first time i Albacete they should have been one until they seperated for the last...
Can anyone tell me about the different between Levante and Sureste ? When I look at the maps they look the same exept for that one camino starting in Alicante and the other in Valencia.
Thanks <3

Hi Fionaff, we have decided to use this guidebook http://www.cicerone.co.uk/9781852847944.cfm#.VyUAvTCLS00 . Last year we did Camino VdlP and earlyer this spring we did a part of Chemin de Arles. For the first time I also have decided to download an app for Norte and for Primitivo, mayby it will...
Tomorrow we will arrive to Irun and monday morning we start our Camino. Looking so forward to it :-)
Is anyone else here starting Del Norte on monday ?
Buen Camino to you all :-)
Just over a week left until we start in Arles to make our camino. Looking so forward to getting out on the hike again. Last year we did the Via de la Plata, and this year we start in France. The 30th of March we go from Arles and when we reached the Pyrenees we'll take GR11 up towards Irun and...
Great :-) We will start in Arles 30 march, så we will be two days ahead of you. If you are a fast walker you might catch up with us :-)
Not so many weeks left now :-) I really looking forward to it.
Have a great time out there and
Buen Camino
