Mid September is a BEAUTIFUL time to walk the Camino! Book your first 2 or 3 nights and then just wing it if you’re not too picky about what kind of accommodations you need. My husband and I walk the Caminos in September/October all the time. September=Camino for us! Buen Camino!
Bring it. Very much looked down upon if needing a bag IMHO. I use mine walking around villages in evening too, as many times I sit in bar or outside writing in my journal or planning my next stage with John Brierly 😢😊. My Fold up bag holds these items perfectly. For laundry items too! Buen Camino.

I’m sorry for your loss, and happy for your new chapter. THANK YOU for the sage advice. I agree completely. And WOW, just wait for the magic of the Camino. You’ll never be the same! I’m so happy you’re going! Buen Camino!
