How many pilgrims attend the little chapels/ churches in the barrio's outside...
In 2008 we never booked one night ahead and made sure we had a good sleep by booking a pension every third night and took 34 days.
And yes we stopped walking at noon / 1pm because of the queue's.

Try and get your head around this ......we live in the country that is NOW the greatest gas exporter in the world and this same country is now subsidising household their gas bills.....which have skyrocketed.

Restaurants different as we normally dine out in family run “comadors” at lunch time. The food and service we receive will normally get a few dollars as I am thankful for what we get for the prices charged.

Use the big banks in town in case there is a problem , withdraw the maximum allowed per day in euros and thank your lucky stars you can.
