What are my options on finishing the camino? My origional plan was going to arzua tomorrow, but are there options to go past arzua a little? I would like to finish in 2 or 3 days and wondering what other people have done. Thanks!!
I ended up at casa carin. Perfect! 15euros for a double, 20 for a single. Washer and full kitchen, extremely clean, and they give you the option to be picked up at the local bar
Joe, I hope one day I get to meet you because I always see your name in the check in books! Your advice is always wonderful. I am feeling much better and feeling stronger and stronger! Im walking faster, longer, and taking care of myself! Life is good :)
Happy easter from villaviciosa!
Tomorrow I walk to Gijon. Today there was a lot of mud, really got messy! Do you remember if the walk from here to gijon is a messy one? Or is it pretty road based? Thanks!
I am currently at the albergue in Guemes. Actually, I have been here for three days! Yesterday morning I woke up with a swollen achilles tendon. Father Erneato saw my pain and told me to stay as long as I need. Tomorrow I will return to the camino, but I will miss this place dearly. The people...
The walk yesterday was actually really enjoyable. I think it was due to the company of 3 great french men. We dont speak the same language but get along perfectly. Im having a hard time with me feet. No blisters, but thinking I need to buy some inserts!
Hi pat! Im 22, not fit at all, and 5 days into my first camino on the Norte. Do the Norte. Spectacular doesn't even begin to describe the energy the north coast has to offer here!
Joe the advice for tomorrow after deba is very helpful! And I agree, todays walk to deba was by far the most challanging (mentally and physically.) My advice is stay on the Camino route and avoid the GR-121. It is definitely NOT 7km. The views were stunning but i dont think I was physically...
Ah this is tough to hear! I was hoping to take it easy tomorrow since stage 4 seems to be exhausting (big mountain to walk over?) Ok, inland route it is!
I LOVED that town! I wish I had spent more time there today but somehow decided only to stick around long enough to finish my bocadillo and have a cup of cafe con leche. Does anyone have advice on my day tomorrow? Im going from zarautz to deba. Wondering if I should take the costal route or the...
Awesone advicd, so glad I took it. This is the first night I dont have to sleep in a room full of snoring men, AND I get thr whole room to myself! I think a good night's sleep is long overdue :) thanks for the advice!
Its been great! Got to Zarautz today. Feet are sore, a few new blisters (but taking care of them) and still looking forward to tomorrow! I just keep reminding myself to go at my own pace, relax, and smile!
