Added to what others have said. Rarely did people on their first camino not get stamps or their Compostella. Many of us have walked multiple times and while most of us I guess carry a Credencial, it no longer is as important after a few Caminos
Nope, what you see on Camino is how I am at home as far as I can.
Since my first Camino I realised I had to try and be more tolerant of others and their ways and have taken that on board and brought that home with me

Very much this. I've always arrived on my own and have enjoyed the smiles and happy faces in the Cathedral Square. It was my first time going to mass for maybe 25 years also. I also like the feeling of pilgrim watching along the route, have sometimes picked up the odd straggler for a few days (...
I mean this in the nicest way possible... I think it might be time for you to break up with the camino... maybe a trial separation. If you have tied all your happiness to walking caminos and are now feeling jaded then perhaps it's time for something new ? I don't mean walking thru different...
Fab photo. I've only ever seen one once on Camino...just before Manjarin... probably same type of snake although my photo only really shows the snakes tail trying to get out of my way

I live in Sussex but am fortunate to be able to use a friends static caravan in North Cornwall and be able to walk from lots of locations near there. The tourists arrive when the nice photos appear and give them ideas :)

On odd occasions when I have had too many wet clothes for a day or so I have used a small piece of climbing rope with pegs and safety pins , hung from my backpack to dry as I walked. I'm never bothered about how it looks :)

Concur with the rest above. 2018 to 2022 , around a 25% increase. September time (booked St Jean and Roncesvalles only ) busy but never struggled for a bed when I decided to stop
