Camino del Norte -Irun Start June 14. My husband and I are walking our third Camino to finish on my 60th birthday in Santiago.

What shoes should we wear on the Norte route in June and July? Light boots, trail runners or hiking sandals? We start in Irun mid June and finish late July.
