Checking your backpack on flights
I have just sent my pack from Madrid through 2 US airports with no issue. I also tie up the straps and make sure nothing is loose. You can wrap with plastic wrap that you can buy for moving, but I didn’t find that necessary. It may just make you feel better. You can also just use packing tape...- jsolomon44

Travel from Madrid to St Jean Pied de Port
Hi - I arrive Madrid in the morning. Will fly from Madrid to Pamplona on Iberia. The flight cost was not much more than a train ticket. We will take a shared taxi to SJPP. We arrive Pamplona after the bus leaves. Buen Camino!- jsolomon44
