Camino primitivo vs Camino del Norte difficulty

I may walk the Camino Primitivo. I try to understand how difficult it is. I walked for one week on the Camino del Norte (Irun to Bilbao). I checked on Gronze and the profiles of the stages look similar, can I expect a similar level of difficulty? Also, how are the conditions at the moment, is...

    Coastal camino v. Central

You can see the altitude of every stage in various websites, for example on Gronze.com, if you select a stage and then click on "Ver perfil de la etapa". I have done port of the inland rule and I don't remember any particular incline

LIVE from the Camino Meseta in winter

I may do the same next month! How is the situation with accommodation, was it easy to find albergues? And are there many other pilgrims?

Camino Ingles at the end of March

I am considering to do the Camino Ingles at the end of March. Are there already people doing it? I have done previously other Caminos and one of the best part was to be able to meet people. Also, are there enough albergues open in this period?

    Credencial in Vigo

I got my credencial at Santiago de Vigo church. The priest was very nice! The tourism office say that they may also give it at the church of Maria auxiliadora but when I went there was a mass and I didn't see any sign of credencials.

Thanks! A comparison is very helpful for me! I think Finisterre will be probably :)

Last 100 km of Camino Portuguese or Finisterre

Thanks for the honest feedback. I care about all three components. I don't like to walk on asphalt, especially if it is along main roads. Urbanised can be good. I like small cities and villages (like the old ones where there are 1000 people living) but I don't really like to walk into big...

Last 100 km of Camino Portuguese or Finisterre

Thanks, that's very useful! When you say more pilgrims, what do you mean? Is it super crowded like after Sarria on the Camino Frances or just a bit crowded? Was is still easy to find accommodation or you have to book to be sure to find a place?

    sock cleaning

I always use Vaseline for my feet when I walk on the Camino. I generally where two pair of socks. The internal socks are lighter and the only ones that get in contact with Vaseline. When I was them, most of the Vaseline goes away...but in my experience a small layer remains, that is not a big...

Hi, I have five days to walk a part of the Camino and I am deciding on which route to choose. I will arrive in Santiago next weekend. I walked previously the full Camino Frances, the Camino Finisterre and the first part of the Camino del Norte. This time, I am choosing between Camino Ingles...
