I have been a Michener fan for years. Interestingly, I am currently in the middle of reading Iberia for the first time, also two years after having walked the Camino Frances. Yes, I agree Dave does a nice guide for the GR 65. I especially enjoyed his podcasts on that route as well. I am looking forward to taking the shortcuts around the Saint-Géry to Vers section in the Célé Valley.- Boots67

Camino Frances in October - long or short-sleeve merino?
I walked the CF in October 2022 with a long sleeve sun shirt, one long sleeve light weight merino and one short sleeve light weight merino tee. I also used a nano puffy for colder weather. In addition, I had a light weight rain jacket to add as needed. This combo worked well for me.- Boots67
