I would say take a day of caring for yourself. Buy a good foot cream and give your feet a pamper. Spoil yourself with a nice meal.. you’ve got this. Every one gets doubts
I found that some albergues sell spares for 2€. I’ve seen them in mansilla de las Mulas and Leon so I’m sure they’re elsewhere too. Maybe ask in albergues, bars etc
It was the fact that we’d had torrential rain where it was something I NEEDED. I was supposed to be resting my ankle and ended up walking around Logroño looking for a poncho on a Sunday when everywhere was closed…
I did report it at the albergue
I’m very careful with my valuables eg money, phone passport etc but I was ready to leave and had just packed up. I literally went to the toilet before leaving.
I got to Logroño in the torrential storm on Saturday. I stayed in the albergue municipal and while the staff were fabulous, on the Sunday morning some women waited for me to go to the toilet and while I was gone they stole the rain cover for my rucksack and left. They left a battered baseball...
I have spoken with them and at present I’m the only passenger enquiring about that time so they have quoted me their night time rate (€160). This will reduce with each additional passenger and if the taxi becomes full it will reduce to around €19 each.
