Mirichka, I am so sorry to hear that this took place. I pray that his soul abides in peace and that his memory may be a blessing. I hope the Cathedral offers a special memory for him. May his friends and his family find peace and comfort that he died while in a sacred place.
Yes! To Santiago and Finisterre. It was doubtful for awhile - a wintry storm passed through Fonsagrada area - but was able to recover my nerves and press on. Rest days - and dry socks - do wonders for the soul. But wow, I would not recommend a Rain-vember Camino.
FYI, in case anyone following this is currently on the Primitivo, Ferreira and As Seixas lost power this evening in the storm. Plan with caution for tomorrow as they may not have it back.

Hey Ramon and TexasIndia, what have you been finding as far as accommodations and bars that are open? I know they start to shut down in Oct - I'm looking at an Oct 26 start date... Looks like the first few days will be wet but then more clear.
