Just wondering if anyone knows a reasonably priced luggage storage depot in Paris. We leave Paris (after flying in from Australia) on Aug 31st to travel to Le Puy and begin walking towards SJPDP. Need to leave a bag for the duration of the walk.
We're starting from Le Puy on Sept 1st (well, that's the plan!). Having not done the pre-booking accommodation routine before, how many days ahead do we need to book? Is it possible, or advisable, to 'just wing it' and not pre-book?
Planning to walk Chemin le Puy through September and wondering if I'll need a sleeping bag , or will a sleeping sheet be enough? Also, do you predict bed bugs will be an issue?
Does any returning pilgrim from the Chemin Le Puy (2014) have a copy of Miam Miam DoDo that they'd be prepared to sell? I hope to walk the Le Puy route Sept 2015 and want to get prepared. Have already walked the Camino Frances and Via de la Plata.
Just wondering if any past pilgrims have been able to get tickets for a bullfight in Seville? I know it's controversial and I would most likely loathe the actual killing of the bull, however I think I'd like to experience the spectacle firsthand just once in my lifetime. Any advice as to how...
Fly in from Australia on Monday night (15th) and plan to begin on Wed 17th. Jet lag usually isn't too bad going to Europe from Australia, so hope I'll be right for Wed. Love to hear from anyone with similar plans as I'm by myself.
Hoping to start the VDLP around April 20th and wondering what accommodation situation will be in Seville at that time. Will the festival still be on? What do past pilgrims recommend interns of accommodation for a few nights before setting off?
As a pretty keen quilter I was just wondering if there are any fabric stores along the Camino Frances? I know I won't be able to buy much, though I could always post a parcel home. I know it's not really in the spirit of the Camino, however I just thought I might be able to feed my addiction...
Can anyone please suggest the best way to get from SdC to Bilbao? I really want to see the Guggenheim before I return to Australia (flying out of Paris June 1st).
