I had my credential photocopied on both sides and then framed. The advantage of this is that I could still keep the original. I also had my certificates framed and have hung them next to the credential.
I did post a photo on here some years ago.
It's possible that with today's fast-paced life people can't take four or five weeks off to complete the longer Caminos and so opt for a one week event. The certificate's the same.

My wife and I walked the English Camino in 2013. We were advised to start in Ferrol and not A Coruña as the distance from the latter was too short. It's not far from Ferrol to A Coruña. We both received our certificates.

My wife and I will be setting off on the Portuguese Route in May and, given our time constraints we'll have to start in Tui. Is it possible to purchase a Pilgrim Passport there, or ought we to get them elsewhere prior to departure?

If you'd like a Compostella you might think of walking from Ferrol instead of A Coruna - it's only a few miles more and is easy to get to by bus from A Coruna.
