Which is the most scenic route?

Looks like I may indeed be travelling Lourdes to SJPP. Any one out there done this? Feels more rewarding to end up at Lourdes, but will be going AGAINST the flow of the few pilgrims. May not be relevant if I wouldn't see any anyway. Any thoughts? Also waymarkers may completely confuse me...

Which is the most scenic route?

Ingles now becomes plan B. I'm looking into Lourdes to SJPP, as a prequel to Frances last year. Does this route exist with waymarkers & hostels/albergues???

Which is the most scenic route?

Which of the routes has the best (still challenging, scenic, not too crowded) last 120 - 150K? I did Entire Frances last year, and by far, Sarria to Santiago quite a let-down segment. Only have 8 days this year. Considering Ingles (too short?), Primitive? Final segment of Norte, Portugese or...

IMPORTANT: Advice for pilgrims setting off APRIL 2013

I'm anxiously watching comments on this thread every morning from everyone (lately between falcon and biarritzdon). Having never seen any part of the Camino, this is all playing out in my mind until 3 days, when I'm there. There was some mention that the lower (valcarlos) road avoids the mud...

IMPORTANT: Advice for pilgrims setting off APRIL 2013

At the risk of showing everyone that I'm an idiot, what exactly does that (snow level and rain post) mean in regards to walking the Camino?

IMPORTANT: Advice for pilgrims setting off APRIL 2013

But knowing me like I know me, I'll feel like I'm cheating by starting in Pamplona! Haha, may just be a decision I make when I get off the plane in San Sebastian, unless someone twists my arm before that..

    Class of 2013

I leave Florida 16 may, but my enthusiasm is starting to wane a bit, since I've been reading about the snow and mud for the first 7-10 days. The romantic notion of 15 miles a day amidst spring wildflowers replaced with slogging 5 miles a day through ankle high mud! We make such important plans...

IMPORTANT: Advice for pilgrims setting off APRIL 2013

OK this is my first forum post; I just been a silent stalker until this morning. I also am too tropical to enjoy much of the cold wet stuff; I have had much anticipation of the beautiful Pyranees covered in spring wildflowers in April/May. HaHa, but once again, when we make plans, God shows...
