Hiking poles vs. walking stick
Can anyone offer an opinion on using hiking poles or a walking stick ? I recently spoke to a woman who walked the Camino last Fall and she spoke strongly in favour of a walking stick (which she purchased at SJPP) but I have noticed in photos many pilgrims using hiking poles.
