I dealt with it on 3 seperate occasions on my recent Camino Frances. Informed all potential places etc.
As I previously posted I am extremely allergic to their bites and took ALL known and some probably unknown precautions. Makes me wonder if they are not more of a problem then people think. My...
Hi,
Live from the Camino. It's beautiful and perfect cool/cold temps (hard to dry anything though and always queue for the dryers). It is the BEST kept secret walking at this time of year. I also have long hair that needs a wash every now and then. I brought a sea to summit travel towel. It's...
Bet your excited!!. We are at Pamplona and cannot wait to put our boots and backpack back on again in the morning to see what the day brings. Take care and buen camino.
Coming from an aussie summer on the Camino was daunting considering all the bad weather reports. We are LOVING it. All we can both say is never, ever let a weather report stop you stepping on the Camino. It is pure magic no matter what the temp is..
It was bone snapping freezing in Paris, but almost balmy here in St Jean Pied de Port compared to the north. Will keep you posted. Buen Camino to you as well..
Hi, I have multiple pairs of bamboo socks to weat around home. But would never take them travelling. They literally take days to dry. I've washed all my socks together to test it out. Woollen, mixed blends etc, and without fail the bamboo ones are still hanging drying out days later. Cannot say...
Pick me. Pick me. I'm happy to be anyones sidekick on the Camino. Lol. I am so happy that given a choice Grace picked this her big trip out of Australia. She tells me that she has heard enough about it over the years anyway..
Cheers Tanya
My daughter got an overseas ticket anywhere she wanted for her 18th birthday as opposed to a party. She has chosen to use it to come with me on Camino Frances. Dates moved forward dramatically by a couple of months and now we head off from Australia next week. Woo hoo. Been waiting to do this...
Hilarious post.
I broke my back and my Pacers are the only thing that keep me walking and not a crumpling, blabbering mess.. But I also have industrial quality rubber feet to quieten them down.
For most people, bed bugs are just an annoyance and inconvenience. For me, and I am aware of several other authors of posts on other threads, they are very serious medical condition. I got "attacked" on a Liveaboard scuba diving off Queensland and again travelling in New Zealand. One very sick...
As a police officer, and prosecutor the best form of information and evidence is photographic, video, and contemporaneous notes and observations. That is, notes taken by the witness as soon as possible. As soon as it is safe to do so, stop and write it all out in anyway you can. Note the time...
I am sending love and kindness to those that have been the unfortunate victim of these crimes. We should never accept or normalise this behaviour, regardless of our views or vulnerability levels. Nor should we have to worry about experiencing this either taking a walk around the block or across...
Not one to dampen any humour nor desirious of inducing any fear, but having near a couple of decades as a police officer, I can say with far too much experience that every serious offender started off their criminality somewhere, often with seemingly minor offensive behaviour. "Flashers" value...
