Hi Padre, I am heading off in Sept this year to do the primitivo and have enjoyed reading your posts. Shame about the knees. I did the Frances route in 2012 and luckily had no injuries but I am lead to believe that the primitivo is far more challenging and gruelling on the body. Would you agree...- Rextra
