Round the corner and up the hill from the Pilgrims Office in Santiago, about 50m away, is the Faculty of Medicine's huge cafeteria that must be able to seat between 200 and 300 people. They have a tiny blackboard sign at foot level on the main...
As a snorer, I would suggest you take earplugs, or stay well clear of dorm accommodation. Repeatedly shaking me awake in the night doesn't change my snoring habit, as was tried on my last Camino. I take spare earplugs so in extremis I can give...
My favourite was turning left off the Camino (Somport variant) between Borse and Urdos, and going up the Chemin de la mature. It's a truly amazing path, literally hacked out of a 200m+ sheer cliff face (la ravine d'enfer). Depending on whose...

A lot of the infrastructure and economic advancement has been, and continues to be, paid for by taxpayers in Northern Europe via transfers from the EU. For example under the Recovery Plan Spain's received over €30bn, and will get €10bn more...
Decide what you want to take, how heavy you want it to be, and go from there. It all depends on you.
As for me:
Normally I'd take a 33l Osprey for winter trekking in mountains, so more than adequate for a Camino (for me). It also fits most...
