Non waterproof boots with gaiters for Oct. camino. Thoughts?
Walked the Camino October 5 thru November 2, 2012. Wore nonwaterproof Merrells, no gaiters. Worked well for me. Some rain, mud, ect. Boots/Feet got wet a couple of times. Stuffed boots with newspaper at night to dry them. Rubbed vasiline on my feet each morning and evening. No problems.- mbiven
