Hi Everyone!!
My sister and I are starting this Sunday in O'Cebreiro!
If you see 2 women with a U.S.A Flag AND and Argentina Flag... That's Us! So Excited!
We fly out tomorrow into Madrid!
:)
No, the metal part doesn't stick out... what sticks out is plastic... if you see the picture... the sides have 2 plastic "ears" (or whatever you would call that) that sticks out... I'm afraid it won't fit in the wall with those things sticking out.
I guess if it doesn't work, I will find...
Thanks Nico!
So for Spain and that part of the Camino (Galicia) you think I should be OK with the F? Even though it has those little things sticking out the sides?
Just double checking :)
Thanks again!

Hi everyone!
I was wondering what type of plug sockets you’ve encountered in the Camino (French Way). If it makes a difference, we are walking from O’Cebreiro to Santiago.
Below is the type C I could buy:
I currently have a type F adapter (see picture below)
I am wondering if I...
Well said... very true... didn't think of that :) (I do like the national names myself, but honestly, didn't know some of them) I don't think people do it to be rude.
t2andreo,
does this mean that the days on the websites linked here, for example: May 23 (the apparition of the apostle)and Pentecost (May 24) are no longer days they will swing the Botafumeiro?
Thanks Biarritzdon and OTH86!
I just made reservations yesterday, so we are all set for our stay at San Martin Pinario! Can't wait! We got a double on the pilgrim floor with breakfast included for 40 euros! I just can't wait! 3 months, 3 weeks to go! :)
Hi Michelle! just came across your post and would LOVE it if you could forward me the info. on Biking the Camino Frances. I haven't even gone on my first on yet! (1st one is with my sister ... from O'Cebreiro to Santiago, this May!) and I'm already planning on my 2nd one with my 14 yr old son...
Thank you mspath for the email to San Martin Pinario! I just made reservations for May 23.
40 euros for a double in the albergue floor, and it does include breakfast! Great place from what I see and prices, can't wait to be there! :)
Telelama, ended up making reservations at Casa Navarro too! It was actually the only ones that I was able to contact with "availability" for May 16th. ... the Hotel O'Cebreiro and Casa Celta both said they were full, which I find rather odd since it was this was in December... for May.
The lady...
Hi all!
I was just going to ask about the 2015 Edition, because previously, Amazon had a January 2015 release date... anyone know why it was delayed? any chance someone else will have it sooner? Leaving May 14 and would like to have the latest version.
Thanks!
Buen Camino to all!
Wow Sara! that's amazing! I'm speechless... I am on a tight budget and your offer is really priceless. I'll message you with my info. I'd like to at least pay you something for it...
I would love to pay it forward and do the same when I come back from my camino! What a lovely think to offer...
Thanks Annie! we arrive in O Cebreiro in the afternoon... hope the place is still open... that would be ideal... there's nothing similar to the Altus Poncho here in the US that I have found... and if there is... it must be very expensive!
Thanks everyone! Nice to know I made a good purchase :) its especially hard when you're on a budget.
@Kanga, I'm trying to find an inexpensive merino t shirt... Costco had them and when I went back they were out :( hopefully for black Friday or Cyber Monday :)
@Olivares, I loved the hood on...
Thanks for the observation off trail , unfortunately some people's funds are limited, as are mine, thus the less expensive brands. I Would love to purchase a high end North Face or Patagonia jacket, but the truth is I don't have the money and even if I did living in California I would never use...
Hi everyone!
I hope this is OK to post. Ive been searching for a while for a lightweight jacket for our Camino with my sister in May.
I originally bought a Columbia Fleece Jacket I liked with hood... once it got cold enough and I was able to try it, I found it really didn't keep the cold...
Thank you all so much! I won't miss O'Cebreiro, for sure! hope when we arrive at night ... around 7:30pm there's still some light out that we can see... or at least in the morning when we leave to walk our 1st day :)
Thanks bajaracer for the link, I'd love to stay at Fuente del Peregrino...
