I was annoyed by quite a few head torches...
I used a couple of times a Pelican VB3 LED clip light and clipped it to my backpack when I didn't need it.
I am back at work after having done SJPdP to Los Arcos...
Lots of emotions, and obviously I wish I was able to take the whole month off, but still I managed to find what I was looking for.
Best of luck to you all starting soon!
Last sleep in blighty. Travel tomorrow to sjpdp.
Then a week or so until Logroño, then back to reality for me!
This is real, not sure how long I'll be asleep for!
If you see me say hello! :-)
Tell your son he'll recover from the lack of sleep... ;) And so will you, and actually you may start getting used to wake up early to avoid the sun!
Good luck and buen camino!
Spent last 2 days walking from Folkestone to home in Whitstable, Kent.
51 km or so, both days very long.
Managed to get (only) a blister and survived a sandal breakage!
In 2 weeks time I'll be crossing the pyrenees... Hopefully!
Not the only person I know of who hates pictures! :) I think it's worth keeping a record of what happened and whomever I encountered, as I think that will serve as a good memory for them as well, as some sort of collective memory.
I don't want to spend my free time during the camino writing...
Hi everyone!
Starting on the 7th Sept from SJPdP (arriving on the 6th)... 3rd Camino, last one was back in 2002... Only doing until Logroño, a week every year for 5 years... Have also started a blog that should keep me busy for a few years...
