LePuy weather/gear for May
In Le Puy i stayed in ASSOCIATION GRAND SEMINAIRE ACCUEIL SAINT-GEORGES Very nice and with a lot of other pilgrims. Close to the cathedral, good for the morning service. I've got an single room, shared showers.- biodiva

Sleeping Bags in July/August
I just returned from the route Le Puy-Moissac in June/July. In every gite I found a pillow and there where blankets, so a lightweight liner is perfect. Yes, it becomes very hot, but not in Le Puy. Le Puy en Velay to Moissac: October 1 to 21, 2011
I walked in June/July from Le Puy to Moissac, and returned home last week. It is wonderful! At the beginning I booked ahead and than I walked without reservation. Only once I had to walk a little bit further. At the end, when it becomes very hot, I did short etappes and I stayed in little gites...- biodiva
