Started in Narbonne
I walked the Canal du Robine to start with from Narbonne and then onto the Canal du Midi picking up the pilgrim trail/GR78 at Carcasonne. My understanding is that the local wine growers do no want pilgrims/walkers going through their vines/land around the Narbonne stage. Not sure how true that...- Maz

A New Pilgrim Sets Forth
Hi All I arrive in Narbonne on 29th June and will start walking June 30th. My intention is to walk along the Canal du Robine until it meets the Midi.
