J/P... you're leaving tomorrow?
"I an l to Bilbao on 13th September to walk from Bilbao to Santander"
Do what you feel is right! Your Camino is your own. It doesn't matter what anybody else here has to say as long as you stay true to yourself.
Happy trails my friend, buen camino!

I didn't realise that a Fisterana was available. After Santiago I kept walking to Finisterra getting stamps in my "Way of St James"credentials. Does anyone know if I contact the municipal albergue and send them a copy of my credentials I'll be able to have a Fisterana sent to me?
I'll pay for...
When I returned from my first Camino I felt trapped and had dreams about burning my house down, losing all of my possessions and hitting the path again.
All I've thought about for a year is the Camino and at this moment I'm on the Portuguese route.
It's a way of life now. Going Camino...
The bus from the Airport stops at around 23:30 so you should be OK. It costs around €3 and takes you into the centre of Bilbao, dropping you off right next to a metro station if I remember correctly. Check this but I'm fairly sure I'm right.
Edit: I think the bus goes every half an hour.
You...
Just read your original post again.... you're stopping at Santander.... well, have fun anyway.
In my defense I'm a little bit drunk on cheap Portuguese wine after a 30km walk.
Hello,
I did the northern Camino last year and if there's a stage you skip by all accounts it's this one.
I skipped it because lost luggage set my friend and I back 2 days on an already tight schedule. If we hadn't had to deal with that we probably would have followed the advice of our guide...
Hello All,
I’m currently on the Camino do Mar on the way to Bombarral. Does anybody know of a pousada or albergue at the end of this stage?
Also looking for the same at Caldas do Rainha and Alcobaça.
When reading about this Camino I didn’t realise there were so many mountains.
Thanks
Hi All,
I've jut finished the Camino del Norte and was amazed at how beautiful it was. 28 days walking from Bilbao to Santiago and I loved every moment.
I'll do a camino again in the future but next year I'm thinking of going outside of Europe. Does anybody have any recommendations of other...
Great, that's another app I'll consider. Thanks.
I need a new phone so my priority is battery life first, camera quality second.
Can't wait to get going!!!!
I wish I'd known this before spending €40 on the panels. I bought them on Amazon and they were highly rated. I went for the 7W for faster phone charging. I'll test them over the next few weeks in the magnificent Dutch sunshine and let you know how they function.
As for the GPS watch...
If I remember right I had 30 minutes before I had to work when I posted my request. Didn't have anywhere near enough time to go through the information in this section of the forum.
Anyway, my request has paid off. I've had my question answered.
I've decided not to buy the Garmin. When my...
Hi all,
I'm sure this has been asked and answered in this forum but there's too much information to go through at the moment.
I'm doing the camino norte in August and want to track my route using either an affordable GPS unit or a smartphone.
If I use a GPS unit I need to be able to connect...
