Yes , I watched this yesterday and was quite confused too. But, as I'm sure they say, everyone's camino is different! Wept everytime someone said "Buon Camino" though... Aaaah, planning the next stage. Once a pellegrino, always on the Camino....

well, I've heard that truly repentant pilgrims do the walk with peas in their shoes. They might not be repentant when they start but I expect they very much are by the end of the first day.....
We stayed in Zairiquiegui, the albergue up the road on the left, not straight ahead. We had our first really fun evening there as the alberguistes put us all on the same table to eat and we all chatted in a variety of languages. I loved it!
been sitting round a fire tonight talking about our camino experience and I've learned that it was customary for the Huitchol indians to go on a pilgrimage each year. Now there's a custom we could all benefit from! The NHS could save millions if we all walked again.
I'm hoping the camino strengthened my bones. had a hip problem that I thought would cause trouble when walking (was due to be operated on). Had pain in many places but the hip was fine! What I did find was that I had heart issues (kept missing a beat.). On returning home I consulted a therapist...
