Typical day on the Le Puy route?
@Betseylou I stayed in "gites communaux" (municipal hostels) and private "gites" most of the time. Now that I think about it, there was one place that I booked far in advance and that was the "Auberge Du Sauvage En Gevaudan" near Chaneleilles. Typical day on the Le Puy route?
Hi Betsey, I did the exact same route a few months ago, leaving from Le Puy on May 17 and arriving in Santiago de Compostela on July 4. I walked the entire Via Podiensis (Le Puy route) but in Spain I did roughly 450 kms on a bike as I didn't have enough time to walk the walk Camino Frances...- JohnSD
