Gerd and Sigrun from Sweden
Oh, good thinking. Gerd is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and works in the energy industry. Sigrun is about 5 feet 7 inches and is a nurse. They are both blond and have athletic builds. Poles or no poles
I recommend poles. If used correctly they can save a lot of energy and help prevent falls. My plantar fascitis (sp?) hurt when I didn't use the poles and didn't when I did. It is easy to twist an ankle on rocks and the poles allow two more points of contact with the ground to help prevent falls...- camphd
