I wear Altra Lone Peaks for the Sierras, but don’t believe one pair would last for 500-800 mile Camino. After trying several brands, I have settled on Oboz Sawtooth shoes (not waterproof) - they definitely make it through a whole Camino+, and I am 225 lbs. Starting 6th Camino next Wed.
Hi, I have seen several posts about using the metro to get from the airport to Lisbon. Is it possible to walk safely? I arrive in the morning after a long flight, so walking would do me good. Thanks!

Hi, I am from Tucson AZ and will start walking the VDLP on 17 April from Seville. At this point I plan to join the Camino Frances in Astorga, but plans are not firm. Hope to see some of you along the way!
