Last minute footwear dilemma!
I have been training in the Altra Lone Peak shoes - and they are wonderful. Light weight, comfortable, and fit my feet beautifully. So I asked a friend that does marathons and extra-long distance running. He swears by a product called "wet" and all of his running companions use it with excellent results. They rub it on their feet, and all other areas that chafe. On training walks I have used it and it works exceptionally...- Wiley L
