Hi Shane and thank you for the encouragement. Oh, my, you are quite the traveler and yes, I can understand how you will enjoy your "warm weather" Camino. I'm still in awe of all the signs that led me to embark on my first Camino. Thanks for blazing the trail for those of us following you...
Karen, thanks for that info, that's a good flight deal and I'll look into that. It can be challenging flying out of Springfield so I may have to drive to St. Louis. I'm happy I've made the decision to fly to Paris and take the train to Bayonne. Yes, maybe our paths will cross. Buen Camino to...
How wonderful for your grand daughter to experience the journey with you. I see you are from Murray, KY? I've been there a few times. I live in Springfield, MO-almost across the river from you. Thank you so much for your info, I do believe this will be my most exceptional "solo" trip. Yes...
Hi Monica! Welcome to the forum! I'm also planning my first CF late April through May. So much info and help here it is often overwhelming and usually keeps me reading late into the night. Buen Camino!
Thanks for the info Ivar. I hope to spend a few days after my arrival in Santiago de Compestela touring around before my flight home to US and so good to to learn of your services. Thank you, Marty
I'm planning on leaving US on April 16th but possibly earlier. I'm going solo and perhaps we will cross paths. My birthday is April 23rd and I need some peeps to help me celebrate! Buen Camino
Hello Peter, I'm having a delightful experience on this forum and connected with remarkable pilgrims and that makes my anticipation even more eventful. I'm thinking every Camino needs one US chick in a COWBOY HAT..that will be me-rain or shine. Everyone has a story and a reason for the Camino...
I'm going from US around April 16th or 17th from Springfield, MO to Paris. I will take the train to Bayonne and then the local train to SJPDP. That seems to work best for me. Maybe spend the night in Bayonne or maybe SJPDP depending on arrival time. I'm not so concerned about planning ahead...
Finding a bit of a challenge to get from here to there as my departure can mean so many flight connections. I think I've decided SGF to Paris and then train to Bayonne then train to SJPDP. Would love to see Barcelona and Madrid so may return that route but not set in stone yet. Thank you for...
I think I shall fly into Paris and take the train to Bayonne. We don't have much train travel in US so, having the time, I would hopefully enjoy that experience. I'm certain I will see your post around various forums. I might even be wearing my "cowgirl" hat. Thanks again, and again Buen Camino.
Hi Steve, my Camino gets more exciting as I see more of us going in April. Wonderful to have your parents and family with you. I would love to meet up with you parents too. What a wonderful experience for your son! I hope we all meet up along the way. Coming from the US and dates aren't set...
