I would be very nervous about blisters with any corrective socks. I used custom orthotics inside Hoka Stinson ATRs. The other thing to try are cortisone injections two weeks before departure. My big toe issues are very similar to the other responses herein.- Patrick Shouvlin

Best transportation options from SdC to Lisbon in July

I’m with Becky. I used the Stinson ATR on two caminos with no blisters. They don’t come in a wide, but the Hoka customer service site recommended them, saying that I would have as much toe box room as their wide models in other Hokas. The Via Jacobi
We did the walk in July of 2012. Not sure about Konstanz, as we started in Rorschach. This was a good choice, as it took us through St. Gallen on Day 1, which has a beautiful Old Town and museum.
