Thanks for all the advises. I am not really sure if I am a pilgrim, hiker, tourist or maybe a mix of all three.
Probably I will take this part of the Camino without planning too much, I will book a flight to Madrid and a return from Santiago 9/10 days later and take decisions when I am there...
I completed the first part of the Camino form SJPDP to Burgos and I am planning to continue next year. I heard comments that the Camino between Burgos and Leon is very flat and boring with not too much to see. My main problem is time, I cannot take many weeks of holidays and I prefer to spend...
I manged to get the 18:06 train, I landed a bit late at 17:15 and I was out of the airport at around 17:25. I took a taxi and in 25 minutes I was in Bayonne station . The taxi costed me 30 euro.
The train ticket machine is not so easy, many screens with different questions (age, railcard, ... ) .
I finished my short Camino on Saturday in Burgos as planned, the weather was great for most part of the week but last 2 days were horrible, I walked the last 15km under pouring rain . I did the route Napoleon on the 29th October and it was amazing. I am so glad that they close the route...
Hi Steve, I will be in the same situation in about 3 weeks. I will try to take the 18:06 train, if I miss it I will take the late train at 21:10. I think it is better to start early in the morning from SJPD.
Hi , I will start the Camino on 29th October from St Jean Pied de Port. I will walk only one week until Sunday 6th, I hope to finish in Burgos and start again in spring from there.
If anybody wants to share a taxi from Biarritz Airport to St Jean Pied de Port on Friday 28th at 17:30/18:00 please...
