Remember there is no bad weather only bad gear. Of course we hardly got any rain th whole 44 days we were gone, too!
We are doing the Camino Primitivo now and wish to go to Porto from Melide to do the Portuguese Camino as well..
Has anyone left from Melide or? We have walked into Santiago on the French way and don’t mind giving it a miss until the Portugal way.

Hey Laluna! we are Tim and Donna ( 61 and 63) and have walked with the Camino group in Vancouver with the "other" Donna! they are awesome! We leave on the 8th of August and plan on staying in Barcelona for 3-5 nights before heading to St. Jean..so EXCITED!! we are on Vancouver Island right now...
We're going! we don't have the flight dates booked and still waiting for Diverbo to get back to us but that is our "plan" start mid August on the Camino Frances. All the advice is good....no GREAT...to you, about your fears. You are showing courage by going...the hardest part will be the first...
