Australians - Aldi next Saturday, gear for sale

That's a really good price. Get there early! There will be a queue - presuming quality is okay. But Aldi usually is a very good bargain

I keep woollens in plastic shopping bags. Moths don't go in there! Woollen is soooo much better than synthetic

Australians - Aldi next Saturday, gear for sale

Merino fabric is fantastic I live in Tasmania and find it keeps one really warm on bold days but also easy to wear in summer. Also odour resistant unlike polyester stuff. Looking forward to.my next Camino! Looking at mid-April start - maybe from Le Puy. I see that stage 15 of the TDF starts...

    Camino Frances Daily Mileage

14kms with no pack is very different to say. 25kms, with a pack! And it can be very hot with no shade for miles! But it's all part of what makes the Camino! An awesome experience - and you'll just take the day off if you're tired or sore!

    Nerves....

Know the feeling. I'm going to do it next year (having done parts of it recently) - walking alone as a single woman feels daunting

    Decided to go!!

I'm planning to go in 2018 too. Was contemplating doing Le Puy - SJPDP in April/May and then return Sept/Oct to do either the Frances or CDN Is April still too cold? Just want to avoid crowds, but on the other hand don't want to be a single woman totally alone out there!
