Starting from Bilbao?
I am arriving to Bilbao on September 15 on a train from Madrid, in the afternoon. I will be cycling... and am looking for the initial starting point, of leaving Bilbao, and connecting to the route. What is the easiest/fastest route to get out of the city and get started? Kindly, Simon- FlyingBarney

Sleeping bag?
I read (or thought) about the idea of sleeping here and there in the open (something Ilike to do anyway), near some albergues. Yet, forgot to bring my sleeping bag... :-( I can probably borrow one from a friend, if it is worth it. Would love to hear your thoughts/experiences about it... Simon- FlyingBarney

Locking the bike en route?
I am planning to cycle, starting around September 15. I have a bicycle and a trailer, and wonder about their safety along the route. I did bring bike locks with me, yet am curious about how safe they are along the way, in albergues, etc... Any thoughts and/or comments... Simon- FlyingBarney

Cycling the Camino Del Norte?
Welcome, fellow cyclist. I am planning to cycle it as well, this September - leaving Madrid to Bilbao around September 15 or 16. Don't have a lot of personal advice, as this will be my first time.
