    Thanks for your answers and sound reasoning. Just wanted to check for first hand experience; last time I started out with 15 kms before reaching los bomberos. PS I do believe the car owner would object if I took it with me, and anyway, whats the fun in that :) Have a nice evening

    Hi Catherine, I will start my camino on a similar route on October 12th. So who knows, maybe we will meet along the way? I got inspired now to do del Salvador before Primitivo, starting in Léon or maybe La Robla, instead of Oviedo. I have 13 walking days and it's not essential for me to reach...
