I have another question about walking the Camino Portugues safely from Ponte de Lima. I am okay walking alone, although I am hoping to meet and walk with others when I choose. How likely is it that I might have stretches on the path when I see no other walkers?- Cindy B

I am a 66 and I too am walking the Camino Portugues in May alone. Reading the responses regarding pepper spray for protection against animals makes me curious and nervous. How frequent are animal attacks, and human for that matter?- Cindy B
