We walked from Santiago do Cacém to Sagres in 14 days. Fantastic trip and not a day of rain! I’ll write a trip report on the Rota Vicentina forum when I’m back home.
I’m coming back from walking the Rota Vicentina (fantastic trail!) and I have a pair of trekking poles that I will leave at my hotel in Lisbon tonight. If anyone is in Lisbon and needs a pair of Decathlon hiking poles, just chime in here! I’m leaving at 5am Tuesday morning so this is your chance!
I'll be walking the Rota Vicentina this November and was wondering if anyone was aware of an option to send luggage from Lisbon to Lagos where we will end our walk. We'd love to be able to continue traveling from Lagos onward without having to return to Lisbon to pick up a bag... Thanks!

I spent two weeks at Enforex studying Spanish 5 hours a day between walking the Camino Frances and the Del Norte. Enforex is a large international organization with Spanish schools in Spain and latin America. I chose Enforex because their offering matched my time frame and location preferences...
I walked from Irun to Santiago starting on May 15 this year. I never personally had any issues with accommodation but heard stories of others having to walk further or even backwards to find a bed.
My strategy was to either book a bed a day ahead (especially on weekend nights which can get...
I walked the Camino Frances from SJPdP starting May 1, 2018. I used my gaiters, rain jacket, rain pants and down jacket on several days along the way. Between Santiago and Finnistere I hit rain, cold and high winds for 3 straight days and would have been hypothermic without this gear. While the...
